Dr. Jessie Topka
Dr. Topka grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University. She then moved to Missouri for veterinary school, where she achieved her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health Degree.
From a very young age, Dr. Topka dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. She did not grow up with dogs or cats in the house, but that did not stop her from working with animals wherever and whenever she could! Now she has a Pitbull boxer mix named Dinah, a California kingsnake named Wembley, and a ball python named Jag.
Away from the office, she loves to spend time outdoors. Swimming, hiking, camping, and rollerblading are a few of her favorite activities. On a rainy day she enjoys reading fiction and watching scary movies.
She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. Her professional interests include preventative care, dermatology, pain management, and senior pet wellness. With a focus on community, she is excited to connect with humans and animals alike.
Dr. Topka would love to meet you and have the honor of caring for you and your pet!
